We are pleased to be writing to you, and celebrating our 1st year of being in business. Thank you to all of our past and present customers, friends and family for your support and business. We wish you a very safe and happy 2009.
Well, like any company, we are constantly looking for ways to better ourselves. And so, over the past several (cold) months, we have been busy evaluating our entire stock of merchandise. Our evaluation results came as no surprise. Some of our most popular selling items throughout 2008 were our T-Shirts and of course our 1/24th scale models of the deHavilland Beaver seaplane. So, moving forward in 2009 we are pleased to announce to you the following additions to the deHavilland Dreams "Passenger Shop".
This month, we launched our own T-Shirt line. Our first design, the silhouette of the deHavilland Beaver was completed earlier this month. It comes in (3) colors-Black, Forrest Green and Graphite, and is available in Medium, Large and Xtra Large sizes. And unlike most of our competitors, all deHavilland Dreams tees are priced under $20.00. And that's not all! Our second Tee, the Turbine Otter is expected to be complete and online in June, followed by the Beech 18, Cessna Caravan, Piston Otter and finally the Cessna 185 Skywagon shirt. Shipping fees will be $10.00 or under for both domestic and international orders with a delivery time of 3-5 business days.

CHILDHOOD DREAMS...
It’s early morning. The lake is still, a mirror, making it difficult to distinguish the water’s edge from the sky’s beginning. It’s quiet. The lakes inhabitants haven’t woken yet. Just then there’s a subtle rumble that breaks the silence. Then, another rumble and the pistons fire as I watch the dock hands turn a deHavilland Beaver seaplane away from the dock by its tail. The engine sputters to life as a puff of smoke and a swift gust smelling of jet fuel races by my face. I watch in awe as the seaplane taxis out from the base preparing for takeoff. Within minutes, the float rudders rise from the water’s surface. The plane leans back and roars to attention. Slowly gaining speed, the beautiful aircraft cuts a trail across the waters surface climbing as it crosses the lake. The full throttle roar echoes throughout the surrounding wilderness as the deHavilland beaver climbs up and over the tree line on its way to a remote lake not accessible by car.
DEHAVILLAND DREAMS PARTNERS WITH THE ALL CANADA SHOW
BURNSVILLE, MINN., December 30, 2008- DeHavilland Dreams, Inc. announced this week that the aviation outfitter, focusing on seaplane apparel and aviation gear, will be partnering with the All Canada Show in 2009.
"I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with the owners of the All Canada Show," said Chris Busch, owner of deHavilland Dreams, Inc. "We forsee great potential to bring added benefit to both the All Canada Show enthusiasts, as well as deHavilland Dreams customers".
The details of this collaboration mean that the All Canada Show will become a distributor for deHavilland Dreams products and merchandise. The well known sporting shows will be selling deHavilland Dreams popular deHavilland Beaver Seaplane models (1/24 scale) at all of their nine tradeshow events, beginning with their Minneapolis show in January and concluding with the All Canada's Omaha, Nebraska show in mid February. BURNSVILLE, MINN., March 12, 2008- DeHavilland Dreams, Inc. announced this week the launch of their new online aviation E-Base. The site (www.deHavillanddreams.com) will be a one-stop-shop for seaplane apparel, aviation gear and accessories.
DeHavilland Dreams new E-Base was designed to focus on the needs of a specific niche–seaplane pilots, companies and enthusiasts. The products follow suit with a wide variety of aviation gear, apparel, model airplanes, safety & survival gear, GPS and more at affordable prices.
Different than most other online aviation stores, deHavilland Dreams will also offer its customers marketing expertise that will help to advertise their companies and services.
“There are many sites and products that advertise to airline pilots, but few are marketed directly towards Bush Pilots and Seaplane Businesses. We plan on changing that,” Busch explained.
After several customers inquired about additional aviation gear and products, deHavilland Dreams decided in January of 2008 to expand their products by opening an online aviation shop. In January 2008, the company became a Minnesota distributor of Aviall aviation products from such manufacturers as David Clark, Telex, ASA, and Sigtronics. To ensure secure and confidential purchasing features for its customers, DeHavilland Dreams then contracted All Metro Merchant Services to establish top-of-the-line online payment methods with Visa, Master Card, and Discover this past February.
Dehavilland Dreams has since positioned itself to be the premier outfitter for seaplane pilots, companies and enthusiasts. And they haven't forgotten their roots! The company still remains one of the only distributors to sell the deHavilland Beaver seaplane model at 1/24 scale. DeHavilland Dreams also plans to move forward on their popular seaplane model product line by introducing the Turbine Otter Seaplane (1/24) scale model in 2009, followed shortly thereafter with a Beech 18 on floats in 2010.
